2.7.21 PROGRESS!!! FRONT MINI TUBS AND PANCAKE ARE ALL WELDED.

 

TA-DAH! The welding is done on my front C-Member. All I have left to do is some light cleanup and it's ready to be primered and painted. 

The welding is done on my front mini tubs, too. Cleanup of welds, priming, and painting come next. 

Driver side. Will need to run aftermarket hood hinges as the mini tubs interfere with 

where the OG hinge springs used to live. Switch have come highly recommended.

A nice shot of the cross-member after pancaking. The only welds I'm planning on grinding smooth are the ones on the side plates which could interfere upon reinstallation. 

Another view of the fabbed inner fenders. Really happy with how these look. 

Another of the driver side. These add just under four inches to the OG fenderwell.  

Work in progress. 

As mentioned, the side supports will be ground smooth.

A little trimming is still needed. 

If you look closely, you'll see we were able to do some rust repair at the front edges of both inner fenders. A common spot for the old trucks to develop rust. Both sides were attended to.
