PLANNING -- EIGHT STEPS BEFORE THE ENGINE GOES BACK IN

This is what a funky twelve year old brake cylinder looks like. Probably not the best idea to powdercoat it silver. Live and learn. See item "B".

THIS ONE IS A BORING. PROCESS AND THE ORDER OF NEXT STEPS

The next milestones for Ratiki before the Smeding 383 is installed are:

A: Detailing the underhood

Eastwood platinum rust encapsulator, Eastwood Chassis Black, new undercoating under fender wells and on the lower firewall (under fender sections), silver firewall paint TBD, Brother's body gaskets, etc.

B: Replacing the leaky old brake booster with a hydro assist unit

Currently researching options. The CPP Street Beast is likely what I will be ordering. TBD

C: Running new brake lines underhood.

Researching best options. In contact with fuelline.com researching

D: Installing a high volume fuel pump for the EFI and a return line to the tank

E: Plumbing the old tank for the return line and in-tank fuel pump or replacing the tank with a unit that has everything built-in

F: Plumbing new fuel lines

G: Rewrapping looms with upgraded Painless wiring loom material

H: Crossmember swap and potentially a modern rack and pinion steering set up. More notes to follow.
