PARTS REMOVAL (A LIST IN APPPROXIMATE ORDER)

 RATIKI 2.0


AS SMEDING PERFORMANCE IN BOERNE, TEXAS, BUILDS MY NEW “HOT ROD” SERIES 383 STROKER ENGINE, THIS IS THE ORDER OF THE WORK I PERFORMED TO RATIKI DURING THE COVID PANDEMIC. IN THEORY, I WANT TO WORK BACKWARDS ONCE THE MOTOR IS IN.

  • Carb removed and intake capped off to keep debris out

  • Distributor removed and cleaned

  • Headers unbolted form block

  • Alt removed

  • Top Cab corners removed at the firewall and boxed up to prevent damage

  • Wiring harnesses unscrewed and unzip-tied from pass side, and placement marked on all panels and harnesses

Electrical junctions, fuses, etc removed from the bulk-head and marked on both sides

  • AC compressor removed and cleaned

  • Top and bottom radiator hoses removed and marked

  • All accessory brackets remove and reference photos taken (see blog) 

  • Parts either cleaned and boxed, or boxed and not cleaned, cataloged, and shelved. 

  • Hydraulic Vacuum Assist unit from driver side bulkhead removed and cleaned

  • Water pump


STILL NEED TO REMOVE:


  • Engine

  • Master Cylinder

  • Power steering lines

  • Transmission lines 

  • BULKHEAD 

  • Inner fenders

  • Fenders

  • Core Support

  • AC radiator and other misc parts.


ADDENDUM: As of 12/12/20, The brake cylinder,  Power steering lines, transmission line to radiator, radiator have been removed. All wires that passed through the bulkhead to the front end and the passenger side have been pulled back to the driver side firewall.


NOTES: 


Need proper screws for reattaching wiper valance One bolt missing from Cowl corners (One shim used on pass side)
